Case Study – Biomass Conversion Project – 2026
Led project management activities for a major biomass conversion project supporting the transition of conventional generation assets toward lower-carbon operation. The role involved coordinating technical, operational, and procurement workstreams across site teams, engineering functions, and wider business stakeholders, helping drive practical decision-making and delivery within a complex engineering environment.
Case Study – Steam & Power Infrastructure Strategy Project – 2025
Led a multi-disciplinary project assessing the future configuration of large-scale steam and power assets following changes within a complex industrial energy partnership. Managed a team delivering a full pre-FEED assessment covering long-term heat, steam, and power requirements, including sizing and integration of new and existing assets, coordination with suppliers, and development of technically and commercially robust solutions to support strategic negotiations and future operational planning.
Case Study – Remote Island Hybrid Energy Development – 2019
Led development of a strategic business case and bid submission for a remote island hybrid power system integrating wind, solar, battery storage, and conventional generation to reduce reliance on high-cost diesel fuel. The role involved coordinating technical, commercial, and bid development activities across multiple stakeholders, supporting technology integration, supplier engagement, and preparation of the final proposal for executive and board-level investment decision-making.
Case Study – Engineering Competency Development Programmes – 2025
Led the development of strategic engineering competency programmes supporting the transition from conventional generation to low-carbon technologies. This included building specialist owner’s engineering capabilities for large-scale solar thermal assets, as well as establishing competency frameworks covering hydrogen, carbon capture, and wider net zero technologies to ensure long-term technical readiness across evolving generation portfolios.
